Mokey was outside roaming the
desert near his backyard, and waiting for the call for his dinner.
Through the night sounds came,
the sound worth waiting for. His owner was calling him into dinner. Thinking
Hazel had very good timing, Mokey took off running towards the back door.
All the while, Mokey could
hear Hazel’s voice, calling, “Here Mokey, time for dinner. Here kitty, kitty,
kitty, kitty, kitty. Come Mokey, don’t you want your dinner? Here kitty, kitty,
kitty, kitty. Here Mokey kitty.”
Mokey was high-tailing his
way through the brush, towards the house. There stood Hazel facing the opposite
way Mokey was running home. The cat flew past her and went through the kitty
door; ran into the kitchen; heading for his dish. Before him was his dinner. ‘Fancy Feast, Grilled Tuna Feast with Gravy’, his favorite.
“Can’t get
any better than this!” Mokey thought.
Still outside, Hazel hadn’t
seen Mokey shoot past her going through the kitty door. She continued to call
him. “Here Mokey. Mokey kitty? Here kitty, kitty,
kitty, you dumb cat!”
“DUMB CAT?
He thought, and continued eating, finishing his dinner, then
curling up in his favorite spot, very contented. Mokey did something with his
mouth that Hazel called smiling. Mokey purred, STUPID ‘ARSE
HUMANS!”
